Southwest University (SWU) is a national key comprehensive university directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education. It is co-administered by the Ministry of Agriculture and Chongqing Municipality. As a member of “Double First-class,” “211 Project,” and “985 Project Innovation Platform” universities, SWU has an extensive set of disciplinary categories. Situated in the Beibei District of Chongqing Municipality, SWU is endowed with magnificent views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River.
Co-established with the University of Western Australia and the University of Tasmania, Westa College is a China-foreign cooperative school without legal person status (License No.: MOE50AUA02DNR20161736N). 2. Qualifications
(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China; adhere to morality education; demonstrate good professional ethics and teamwork; have a passion for teaching and education; understand China’s higher education and China-foreign cooperative education;
(2) Must have related international education experience or background; demonstrate a firm understanding of the curriculum, professional development, and cross-cultural learning;
(3) Hold a field-related doctorate degree obtained in an English-speaking country;
(4) Instruct in English; previous teaching experience is preferred
(5) Work for at least 10 months per year.
3. Job Description
(1) Teaching: 2-3 courses (delivered in English) each semester;
(2) Advising: Act as a student advisor in innovation and entrepreneurship projects, academic research, etc.;
(3) Program development: Participate in developing the complete teaching plan of the field-related program and other relevant talent cultivating programs;
(4) Teaching Quality Supervision: Participate in teaching quality supervision and teaching evaluation;
(5) Other assignments related to talent cultivating.
4. Contract Term and Salary
(1) The contract term is 1-3 years, which can be renewed upon successful assessment.
(2) Salary: 250,000-400,000 RMB/year.
