主要科研贡献:
(1)高效基因编辑工具的开发与优化。在家蚕中,建立了高效的基于核糖核蛋白的CRISPR/Cas9和CRISPR/Cas12a (Cpf1) 基因编辑系统。利用遗传修饰手段(基因编辑、转基因)解析重要基因的功能、探究调控机制、创制育种素材。
(2)众所周知,家蚕主要以桑叶为食,对桑叶具有特殊的偏好。我们对其遗传基础及调控机制进行了深入研究,挖掘了多个参与家蚕食性调控的嗅觉受体、味觉受体、转录因子,并通过基因编辑创制了对人工饲料优异适应性的育种素材。
